For example, since its launch in 2003, the CancerNursing.org site has attracted nearly 30,000 learners from over 95 countries. These countries include:

As far as I am concerned this is the best thing to happen in the field of cancer education!
I can learn at my own speed about a subject that really interests me, without having to get funding for a study day, swapping shifts or giving up my day off.
It doesn't involve me paying my £33 a day childcare fees, and I don't have to put my make-up on, or even go out in the rain!
I can do this when the children are snuggled up in bed! What more could I ask for? It's even free!

I found the course on PICCS to be outstanding, it provided a comprehensive and detailed approach to the insertion, care, maintenance and removal required for PICC lines.

I am a cancer information nurse working in an area where hands on practical care is not my role, but I need to stay up-to-date and to be able to explain treatments, options and help people ask relevant questions. The Cancer of the Oesophagus course was excellent for my needs.
I have really enjoyed this form of learning and learnt a great deal. Living in New Zealand it is expensive to travel out of the country for courses so this is an ideal way to keep up-to-date.
